My mother heard about Happiness at Home from some contacts, and requested they assist her in Pre-op surgery procedures, the night before her hip surgery at Richmond hospital. Because we are out of town, we had to stay overnight at a hotel across the street from Richmond Hospital.Your staff were prompt in meeting us at our hotel, in the evening.  The fact they were willing to come a distance to meet us, in the evening, was remarkable. The caregiver gave excellent, sensitive care to my mother, and tucked her into bed. My Mom felt secure and cared for, and well prepared for her surgery the next morning.It was a relief to have access to this type of care support. Having additional care support is HUGE, and relieves us from exhaustion and concern that goes along with care giving.A sincere and heartfelt thank you to your team, for their kind, timely, excellent service. Frank, Director of Client Care, was excellent in following up with us and was prepared to offer extra services as we needed them.

Taking the time for a personal approach to our mom's needs and our families concerns meant that she was matched with the perfect caregiver and we felt at ease when we couldn't be there ourselves. Your caregiver was great with Mom, taking her out for drives or just having tea and "talk time" which is just what she wanted most of all. She was also attentive to mom's likes , picking up her favourite treats. I also liked I was able to talk with her about how things were going or that she would call with any concerns– an open dialogue is so important.We would recommend your company to others searching for care solutions for their loved ones.
